E-vehicle conversion
We electrify your vehicle!
Vehicle conversion is our core competence. Thanks to our employees, production areas and our own steel and aluminium construction department, there are virtually no limits. From 1960 to 2019, from VW Beetle to articulated bus, we have already gained experience in all categories. This also includes commercial vehicles such as trucks and vans. Typical examples would be the T6, Sprinter or Actros models, which are ideally suited as working vehicles for craftsmen or logistics service providers. We are also involved in the conversion of public transport vehicles.
If you do not have a suitable vehicle for a conversion, we will be happy to find one for you.
The conversions are individually configurable, but typically include BMS with mobile app monitoring and optional air conditioning or electric heating. In addition, there are three basic questions to consider:
Fast or normal charging module?
Range size?
Powerful or economical components?
Fast or normal charging module?
Required range?
Power or economic components?
On the basis of these three questions, the central components can then be selected and essential properties defined:
Engine power: 40kW to 522kW
Battery capacity: 15kWh to 420kWh
Range: 100 – 500 km
Charger: AC charging from 3kW up to 22kW/DC charging up to 100kW
Charging plug: Type 2 and adapter for Schuko plug and CCS
Charging time: with full discharge depending on equipment from 1.0 hours.
A conversion with an engine output of 240 kW, for example, is available from € 35,000 including installation. The price is defined by the special configuration of the components, so conversions with smaller motors or less fast chargers are more cost-effective.

Battery Technology
We use two different systems for our batteries: Liquid-cooled Li-Ion batteries and LiFePo/LiPolymer batteries.
The Li-Ion batteries are purchased in prefabricated 5.3 kWh cell blocks. Thanks to the liquid, it is possible to heat the batteries in winter in order to maintain optimum temperature and performance. Our BMS (Battery Management System) monitors the cells so that in the event of damage, defective areas can be located and temporarily blocked until we have solved the problem for you.
As a second technique we use a combination of LiFePo and LiPolymer batteries. Here, too, the battery consists of several individual cells, which interconnect to supply the energy for your vehicle. Of course, we also install a BMS with this technology and thus protect the battery as a precaution.
In the field of research, we work with partners to find alternative energy storage methods that will enable us to operate our vehicles better and more efficiently. Hydrogen is not the only energy supplier of the future.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us or visit us to get an idea.
